The sea has always been an enigmatic and fascinating companion to mankind. Peaceful when it chooses to be, yet always dangerously peaceful. Perhaps it is this unknown infinity that makes every element of its world such a powerful source of inspiration for those who live by the sea, have lived it, or simply love to watch it. As its name suggests, this lamp draws its inspiration from buoys which, dancing to the rhythm of the waves, are objects at once deeply poetic and calming. Its simple yet iconic form invites a play of materials, creating a delicate contrast in constant search of the right balance. The lamp is composed of three distinct zones: clear glass at the base, opaque glass for the upper part and a wooden ring separating them. Different qualities of light and subtle, pleasing plays of colour and shadow emerge when the lamp is lit, bringing an enveloping atmosphere to life.
