LMP KALO

KALO is a floor lamp inspired by African culture and by artisanal know-how. The shade is made of natural jute rope, hand-braided, borrowing the techniques of the baskets found in local markets. The sturdy base in tinted solid beech brings out the natural colour of the weave. I wanted to create a contemporary, environmentally responsible light while bringing an “ethnic chic” spirit to interior decoration.
